Semi-Tubular Rivets (Wire) Semi-tubular and tubular rivets are excellent fasteners to quickly and inexpensively join work-piece materials together. Often used to self-pierce and avoid having to pre-cut a hole. The tubular portion of the rivet may be fastened to a tight or loose (hinged assemblies) fit depending on the application. Riveted work-pieces are most often joined together by compressing the tubular end of the rivet with a rolling die.

Normally made from steel, they can also be specified in aluminium, brass or stainless steel and also in a variety of finishes.
