Semi-Tubular Rivets (Pressed) Sometimes known as soft rivets this type of semi-tubular rivet is manufactured from steel as an eyelet with the head formed at the end of the process. This gives a smoother finish to the head and makes this type of rivet great for applications such as clothing, handbags or satchels where the appearance of the hardware is as important as function. The rivets can be used to self-pierce in

many applications and the use of a washer or cap can add extra security to the setting. Decorative finishes including antique brass, antique nickel and painted finishes are available as are alternative head shapes, e.g. domed, pyramid or conical.
